The 'shroom'/sasquatch scene is pretty funny!

I've never actually gotten high, but I have to believe that this movie would be effing hilarious to watch after smoking up. It's pretty funny anyway, because Jack Black is funny as hell. But probably if you're stoned, it's even more hilarious, I'm sure.

I never listened to Tenacious D music before seeing the movie for the first time about a month or 2 ago, but I actually really like their stuff. History is a great tune and I really like it a lot. I hope to see them in concert sometime. Are they still touring?

Yeah I totally agree the strawberry river part was hilarious!! The part that shows whats really going on with him going down that huge rapids in the river i could not stop laughing. Then he thinks he is flying when he's actually climbing a tree that was just too funny!!

LMAO. It's true.

I don't smoke very often, but the first time I saw this movie I was completely chopped.

Result? That scene made me laugh for like 20 minutes straight. It's so *beep* classic. Even if you're not stoned. haha

The mushroom-trip wasn't very accurate, tho. I've took mushrooms with my friends a couple of times, but neither of us ever saw hallucinations. It is great stuff, tho.

Certain parts of it are accurate. Like when he first notices he's trippin and says that this place is "juicy", and also when he's walking goofy and flaps his arms. Pretty believable behavior at that point. But yeah, a lot of it is exaggerated, oh well, still hilarious!

I love when he's thinking he's floating down the strawberry river and then they cut to him in the rushing water and he looks ridiculous. So funny

Freekkeesen speaks the truth. Shrooms enhance the world, not alter it. The Strawberry river is way more LSD than mushrooms.

After 20 years of practice, I still can't spit like Josey Wales.
