The 'alternate ending' battle w. Satan

...is absolutely hilarious.

While in the theatrical release, JB & KG make a game attempt to rival Satan (although it's not clear if they ever GET to their actual song, since all they do is sing ABOUT having to sing a great song ), and do some pretty catchy music of their own--

-- in that "alternate" ending on the DVD, they try their best and totally suck in a hilarious way. JB even uses the phrase "Greatest Song in the World" (see Tribute). Although I don't feel it would have worked for the final cut because doing a humorously bad song was a bit anti-climactic, I really loved the spirit of the joke (that, as usual, The D are nowhere near as good as they are in their own minds). Plus the accidental banging of guitars is a great minor touch.

The war is not meant to be won... it is meant to be continuous
