Was the club owner really Satan in disguise all along?

Or did Satan just take over his body when he had the pick at the end?

there's a little bit of satan in all of us.
it could've been a completely different character that came out of the club, i guess.

Look at the bar he'a at. It's all red and full of skulls. That is clearly Satan's bar.

I think he was meant to be Satan all along (with diminished powers until he regains the tooth), primarily because we don't ever see the Host regain his body in any way later.

It was him the entire time. The club seemed to me to be a sort of way station between hell and the real world. Which is why the crowd seems so unenthusiastic. I think the Open Mic Night thing was a sort of torture for the audience, who I feel are not really people, but souls in a sort of personal hell. Where they're subjected to horrible acts forever.

Which is why Satan could be at the bar on Earth at all. Remember, he's supposed to be confined to hell until he can make himself whole again. The bar is a sort of loophole. Or at least that's what I thought.
