I'm surprised that a thread for him hasn't been created. So as someone who grew up listening to every band referenced in the film and immediately fell in love with the story when Meat Loaf was introduced as JB's father, I have to say that Kyle has incredible guitar skills. Especially in the beginning when he plays Bach while still in that hideous wig.

Just a shame he isn't placed up there with the other greats, because those who know music surely would.

He's talented certainly, and a good actor, too, in my book. But to become recognized in the music industry, one needs that hit record or album, doesn't one. Have Tenacious D or KG been successful enough with their three albums? Maybe they need to work on their marketing prowess for the next one, supposedly planned.
