locations

I was a grip for 3 days on the 3 week shoot. First Day was Humboldt park fair (the end fight scene, than we headed over the a Synagogues near the lake on (what is that street? I leave Chicago for two years, look what happens), Sheridan (that's it), right where LSD ends and meets up with Sheridan. This was for the magic hour /night scene where they made out in the car in a parking lot. It was a crane (jib) shot. Personally a little out of place (shot fluidity wise), but pretty cool. I believe they ended up using the night shot. Another day was the PR day parade, last day of the fair, it was gorilla, second unit, driver, gaffer in the back taking shots of the parade after the parade scene, matched pretty well. Another days was in a house off of Division, near the green line, East of Wicker Park. This was the Lola family dinner scene. All day shoot. Then we head to the west burbs (near Midway)for Tata's family scene. Interior, all day. Another day was an office building off of Wacker and Washington. Other location was around the Humboldt area of Division. Hope that helps.
