Does anyone else think that this is better the second time?

The first time I saw this film I was dissapointed by the extreme change in tone at the end of the film and it really hurt my opnion of the film. However, I watched it a second time many months later and found it to be more enjoyable than the first viewing. Does anyone else think that this is better the second time?

Yeah right, gaffot.

I have seen ASC three times. I enjoy it more with each viewing. I attribute it to MM's very convincing downward spiral towards the end of the film. Yes, the film is a madcap satire of art school. However, Jerome is able to capture the desperation that accompanies unrequited love. And the gags are quite funny, too.

The first time I saw this film, I thought it was really terrible. But I decided to give it a second shot, and I thought it was ok the second time. I still think it has some definite problems with organization and tone, but it really does work as a pretty decent satire of the art world. The problem is the story ends up taking a backseat to the message.

I watched it the first time alone, and thought that it was funny as hell. Then I watched it with my friend and laughed my ass of even harder.

The second time was better. I liked how Jerome is a really good artist but all of the craphats around him get praised for their pretentious slop. And the way he becomes "real" and famous and gets the girl is to end up losing his freedom. Hilarious.
