Truthful look at the fake art world....

The first half of this movie had several laugh out loud scenes. The truthful comments on the "Art World" were dead on and so true. A friend of mine is a Art major and the mad lesbian reminded me of her.

The second half was okay with the murders as a secondary plot. I wish they would have explored the characters lives more and skipped the murders all together.

Although the reference about being a murderer made you interesting and will sell paintings was another truth about our society.

I thought it was pretty accurate as well, even while being exaggerated. I could practically see people I know in caricature form as they were pointing out the different kinds of art students. One thing I thought was off though was the amount of hostility between students. In all my years in art school combined, I haven't seen that much anger in the classroom. I understand it has to be there to make it interesting, but those that watch it should know that it's really not as accurate in that respect. It's really a much more inviting place, at least in my experience.
