Unanswered Question.... (spoilers)

So, Bardo is the one who introduced Jerome to Jimmy (who we are led to believe to be the strangler) and they seem pretty close. There really wasn't any resolution to Bardo's character, the last we see him was when he calls Jerome 'the Class douchebag'. There is a lingering possibility in my head that Bardo is the killer, and Jimmy is merely an accomplice/artist painting the victims.....was wondering if anyone else thought this too?

It kinda sucks, Bardo was an interesting character, wish there was a resolution.

It's an interesting idea but given Bardo's good natured, albeit cynical attitude I can't see him as a killer. Especially since Jimmy was basically nuts and went on a rant about how he wants to kill all of humanity. I liked Bardo's character though and agree more screen time and some resolution would have been nice. After Jerome and him go the girls exhibition I'd hoped they'd team-up and it might become a good natured comedy instead of a tortured dark-comedy, which was a little unexpected and, I think, one of the reasons the film is seen as a bit hit 'n miss with audiences (compared to incredible Ghost World at least).

Captain Murphy: Way to go Sparks, you broke the monitor and you're dead. Happy?

Yeah, I agree it's highly unlikely Bardo was a killer... Jimmy didn't seem nuts to me though, just another tortured artist-type consumed by alcholism. Maybe Zwigoff is playing off the movie cliche that serial killers are usually "unlikely," rather than actually being crazy disillusioned drunks like Jimmy in real-life lol.

so the guy on the end in jail wasn't the killer?!

If you love Homer Simpson 100% and believe that he is your savior, and make this your signature!
