My stupid netflix dvd froze at about the 73-75 minute mark, between where Jerome's roommate says he's the class douchebag in the bar, and when he goes to visit the Jim Broadbent character to ask for the paintings. Could someone please tell me what happens between those two scenes? Different descriptions are welcome. Also, was it definitively stated who the strangler was? If it was supposed to be Broadbent character, do they ever flat out say?

sharewhen he goes to ask for paintings, accidently jerome's cigratte falls off on the floor... and due to that fire starts(though its never shown)... there r few clues which gives out that jim was the killer.. on one of the paintings a dollar note is pasted and if u remember there was only one killing sence and u will notice that the killer takes few cash.... and also on the painting, woman's id is pasted...
i liked this movie.. i wished it had happy ending, but just can't help it...tc
Really old topic I know, but I went to this page and it was still there. I never got around to seeing it again, does anyone have a description about what happened directly between those two scenes I mentioned? The DVD is long out of print and I remember the rest pretty well. I saw the part where the cigarette falls on the floor, right after the part at the bar with the friend is what I'm looking for.
