How come Jerome wanted to stay in prison, the guy (I assume his lawyer) said he could get him out of there. Is it just because it made him famous?
shareYes, that appears to be the reason. It finally brought his art the attention he wanted it to have.
But the movie ends a bit too abruptly. It would have been better to explore that further and have another chapter. It ended after only 1 hour and 40 minutes. It could have done with another 15 or 20 minutes in which various options were explored in more detail.
For example, since Audrey comes to see him at the jail and wants him now, will that motivate him to want to get out of prison?
