Movie had potential but the ending was pitiful...

Right when the movie was starting to get somewhat interesting with the strangler, the mole cop, the love story etc. You think the movie is going somewhere but then it all falls flat with one of the most lazy and cheesiest endings ever.

The movie was still ok and managed to crack me up a few times. Humor and the theme of art is was kept me interested in the movie but most of the characters sucked. And like I said the end part is what made this underaverage as opposed to a good movie for me.

That had to do largely with the source material. The strangler bit isn't from the comic, while all of the art school critiques is. I found the film was flat when it involved the strangler from the get go.
