shareI see you're an old-time Clowes fan. I agree with all your choices. I Hate You Deeply would make a great short, animated or live action, and I've always wanted to see a David Boring movie. In fact, I thought that should be a movie after reading the first issue, so it should probably be three movies.
I also think Like a Weed, Joe and Blue Italian &%@! would be good movies.
Velvet Glove Cast in Iron - it's the first one i read and the one that sticks with me. Hauntingly bizarre.
Caricature would make a good film, and PUssey! should've been made instead of the travesty that is ASC.
Otherwise 99% of films from comics suck.
Interesting to see people mention David Boring, it's the most filmic of Clowes' work (I always think the blonde David is having sex with on the first page is SUPPOSED to look like Scarlett Johannsen) and could work with a decent director.
Velvet Glove would just look like too much of a Lynch rip off.
I hear Shia LaBoef just made a good Clowes film
