NCIS is renewed to Season 15. Ducky IS 83 and he may want to retire when the series contract ends. He will be 85. So time will tell and I am not sure the series will be renewed. It has been floundering a bit since Ziva left. And many don't like the new additions. With DiNozzo leaving that may spell the future for the original NCIS may be over. NONE of them need to work with the money from re-runs plus their huge salaries.
My gut says it is over. NCIS LA has gotten stronger then ever so it will be around a while longer

I remember watching "Everybody Loves Raymond" the most seasoned actor on that show was Peter Boyle, he looked great right up to the last 2 or 3 seasons, he went downhill so fast, and he was only 71 when he passed away, Ducky looks good and I hope he stays like that, but one never knows what the next year brings, I hope his health holds up, he is so good.
