Is the cast involved in the commentaries? Is it worth it to rent the movie for the special features? Bloopers and such.

Yes, the main cast (Matthew Lillard, Seth Green, and Dax Shephard as well as Ethan Suplee and Abraham Benrubi) have a commentary with the movie. The director has a separate one too.
My DVD has a deleted scenes feature, but it doesn't have outtakes or anything. But I'd say all of the special features are definitely worth watching. :]

Putting Seth Green and Matthew Lillard together in a movie was definitely a good idea. And Dax Shepherd eventually grew on me too. They're all hilarious; the whole cast is, really.
