What did this line mean exactly?

When they were stuck in the cave, Tom told Dan "you're the only small enough to go in there", then Jerry said "that's what she said". I didn't know what he meant exactly by saying she, so can anybody explain it to me.

Oh, I just wanted to make this more clear. I meant like usually when people say "that's what she said" they refer to themselves being with the girl, but when Jerry said "that's what she said" did he mean Dan? or did he mean himself then realized the joke was on him? I am asking because there was a long silence and a weird look on their face when he said it, so I am not sure what they meant exactly.

I think that they were just mad that he would make a joke during a serious situation...

He just said it to be funny. Like haha, Dan's small.
