Jimmy Connors homage (spoilers)
I've seen this movie several times, but just noticed this. When Whyte foot-falts in the final match and the umpire calls it, he goes off on him with a rant that HAD to be taken from the 1991 U.S. Open rant that Jimmy Connors let loose. Both Connors and Whyte use "bullcrap" and "I'm out here bustin' my butt". That is too coincidental to be unintentional. Very subtle, but very funny.
