Subtle as Nolan Film and Violent as Tarantino film
One needs a second watch!
shareNolan's films have characters that exist solely to explain the movie and I don't think he has the ability to hold a camera still for more than a second. Oldboy was pretty mild in terms of violence as well. The most violent thing in the film wasn't even shown on camera. Implied violence and all. I think the power behind Oldboy magnifies the implied violence for people. Compared to majority of films that are classified as violent, Oldboy is pretty mild.
Nothing amazing ever happens here.
"I don't think he has the ability to hold a camera still for more than a second" HAHA TRUE.
shareNo offence but you have sited the two worst directors, and this film has none of either of those overrated directors traits,
Nolan rips of Michael Mann action and intensity and episodes of star trek.
This game is more the game 1997 then anything tarantino has made.

"Subtle" is not the word I'd use to describe Christopher Nolan.
