The story is weird as hell

Basically this movie's plot was "A guy saw his friend doing lewd things with his sister. He told the whole neighborhood about it. The friend's sister killed herself not out of shame nor guilt but out of fear of being pregnant. That old friend got so butthurt he spent a fortune on keeping our guy in a private prison for more than a decade then made plan for the hero to *beep* his daughter so he could have the last laugh.
It was also very predictable that the only woman around the protagonist was his daughter.
That aside, the cinematography wasn't anything unique compared to other Korean flicks that I've seen. Maybe it was more comic book like. It's over-hyped
Deserves a 6.5
I read the manga and got bored of it. But it was still better than this film adaption.

Yes I agree, and maybe less... 6 will be OK.

You sound like a *****
Like someone who finally heard about how masterful the film was from various sources. Watched it already having his mind made up and then ran to this forum to spill his ingenious prognosis. Bravo. Not. There's a lot more going on than what you're "so basically..." Explains.

Okay good lol I was wondering if anyone else picked up on that? My first thought when she came on was that...hey wonder if that's his daughter. Then I forgot about it. Then at the end I was like oh, yeah...that. Okay.

It did seem really over the top that the guy would do all that for revenge about his sister...but...I guess when you're really rich you do what you want? And he was still tormented himself? Ianno.

Well now I've seen it. Heard so much about it but was hesitant to watch for reasons. It held my interest anyway, I was drawn in to want to find out the reason for it all. I found Evergreen guy intriguing. I liked the melodrama with the music and all too.

Agree, the plot was so convoluted and ridiculous.

This movie's plot has more holes in it than the Spanish Navy. Melodramatic, extravagant nonsense for what is a very long winded shaggy dog story. You can tell it was adapted from a comic book.
