Finally found it on DVD

I've always seen it on sale on amazon for like 20 bucks and I was always tempted but ice been wanting to buy it in person and I finally found it for used 9 bucks it was practically un touched and just made my day.

That is a great price! I paid much more for my copy. Well worth it though.

I needed to own it, so I paid nearly $50 for my copy.
It was an early birthday present to myself. =)

It was one of those things I needed to own. Regardless of the price. I could have copied it from a friend, but I am a purist with my film collection. I am kinda geeky that way. =)

I know what you mean, my brother always asks me why I buy tv shows instead of downloading them for free on a laptop I just prefer DVD with a case.

I love all the extra features, and the artwork and inserts.
I am the same way about music. Gotta own the actual CDs.
Go figure.

I had the old 3-Disc Tin Edition that I got on sale for $25 at a local music/movie store back in the day. (Pretty good deal if you ask me) Unfortunately I lost it in the flood that hit the US back in 2011.

Recently bought the Vengeance Trilogy on Blu-Ray and I think I got a used copy for about $15 on Amazon, which is a great deal. (And from what I can tell based on memory, the single-disc Oldboy Blu-Ray has most if not all of the features from the 3-Disc DVD edition)

And FURTHERMORE, this is my signature! SERIOUSLY! Did you think I was still talking about my point?

Yep 2 years ago when I posted this it was hard to find a copy even online. Then not long after I found it used on dvd all these new releases came out because of the remake, someday I will definitely upgrade bluray, it's a very re watchable film even though it can be hard to watch ironically.
