Does anybody know what was suppose to be in the box that Oh Dae Su told Mido not to open? That part was really confusing to me. Actually, most of the movie was confusing to me so I'll probably watch it again!

I don't know what it would have been specifically, but I think it's pretty clear that it was something that would have lead Mido to the conclusion that Dae Su was her father. Probably something very similar to what was in Dae Su's box.

It has been more than two years and I wish you already figured it out. In case you didn't, remember the scene where Woo-jin says the famous lines "like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter, like a bird from the snare of the fowler, free yourself' and his bodyguard Mr. Han types this sentence on a chatting program. You can see that Woo-jin is making two copies of identical photo albums for Dae-su and Mi-do. This is a clue that you can find only after watching the same movie many times.
