Am I the only one...

...who thought that the sketch of the alien's head looked just like the woman who had it? When she first pulled it out, I was sure she was going to say she found a guy who does charicatures of people as aliens!

reply

Apparently.

She sort of reminded me of E.T.
But hey, how about that actual picture of an alien, huh? No drawing, but an actual portrait! Wow!

I thought it was funny the way an eccentric person like barbara adams (the star trek juror) had to restrain herself from jumping up and telling alien lady that she's a lunatic

reply

That was the best part of that scene, that a woman that doesn't understand what is wrong with wearing her starfleet uniform to court is saner than her friend. This is the first time she had seen something other than a drawing of an alien, an actual portrait, one color only even.

reply

ya i mean i know she likes star wars but seriously, wearing it to court???

I mean even if she wore it cause it stood for something in her mind or whatever, why cant she stand for the same things without wearing a costume

I liked when she was having that horrible arguement with that dumbass about star wars versus star trek, that guy was dumber than rocks

I thought the old lady "with alien pic" looked like a female Deforrest Kelly! Liek Bone's twin sister.

reply

Oh my god, I'm not alone! I saw the movie at the Science Fiction Museum in Seattle yesterday, and I swear, I was thinking "that lady looks just like Bones!!" It was hilarious to see Barbara Adams in that scene with her...she must've been mortified!

reply

I noticed that Barbara was barely holding it together once the "portrait" was unveiled.

In the commentary, Denise Crosby starts to comment on it as the woman pulls out the photo - "Now, the uncanny resemblance..."

Unfortunately the boring-ass director cut her off and she never finishes the thought.
