Does anyone remember way back in 2004 when they showed the opening sequence uncut on cable tv as a promo? I think it was on USA 40.
I was around 13 years old at the time and just happened to catch it. Scared the shit outta me. Wanted very much to watch the movie. And eventually I did see the movie, and was not disappointed.

Great marketing strategy. One of the best opening few minutes of a horror movie I've ever seen.

Yes I remember it. I've mentioned it in another thread here. I was 19 back then and I just happened to catch it on tv too, it was so intense and scary. I didn't know that this movie was coming out back then but I had to see it after that opening sequence. Still one of my favourite movie theater experiences, I had a great time watching it.
