Her paint photo was awful. She had so many bottom 2 appearances throughout season 10. So stupid that they made her the winner, when there were so many better choices.

shareI agree that they simply wanted a "full figured" model to win and fit the quota, and felt that all season. It really bothered me because there were quite a few amazing girls that season. But what's new, plenty of amazing girls have been gypped. And its tv fakery anyhow, I think we all know by now that, especially with shows like this..the winners are chosen far before the finale, either by Cover Girl, Tyra or the like.
shareThe other thing I find to be quite sad is that Top Model is actually considered a joke amongst the fashion community. And I can certainly see why. It is just such a shame for the girls who put so much damn faith into it. Although I will say, it bothers the hell out of me how many hundreds of thousands of naive girls there are out there, basically willing to sell their soul for the show. So desperate.

shareOfficially they don't, but it's very very obvious in many seasons, especially 8 - 10 imo. Even following the "internal logic" of the show, Whitney winning makes zero sense tbh.

shareAnd if Tyra really wanted a plus sized winner, a better choice would have been Kasia from Cycle 16. She is absolutely stunning and I thought she was great model. Also much more role-model worthy than Whitney.

I said, in another post, that if they weren't going to give it to Toccara or Alexandra, then it should have went to Kasia.
shareKasia would have been a great choice during her cycle. The best choice for plus size model would have been Tocarra but with Yaya and Eva in that cycle her chance of winning was really thin even though she went home before she should have.

Kasia was 6 cycles later though. Obviously Tyra wanted someone to win by 10 to quell criticism, she didn't want to wait for a truly ideal model in case that never came. If I recall, no plus size girl had even made it to overseas, so by 10 if all the plussies never made it in top 6, then she had to have one do really well or just get rid of plus size girls altogether.

Also: Stacey Ann booked the most jobs at Go sees and helped her team to win the challenge. How is it possible that she was sent home over Fatima? However, Fatima is currently an incredible model so obviously it worked out in her favor.
I agreed with the annoyance at the alarm clock, I'm definitely a beast if I'm awakened in any way similar to that. But the three of them sitting there and talking about her as she's trying to sleep was just pure immaturity. Claire was incredibly annoying to me as well, she had an internal smugness that I just found so tremendously irksome. I also thought Lauren was a follower in rebels clothing.
