I'm wondering now whether VH1 should have just made it a similar show with a different title.
I actually didn't even realise this was still going ahead as I'd seen nothing about the new cycle.
Why do you think that it doesn't feel like ANTM? Also it's back to all girls? Yay! That's great! Maybe they'll go back to focusing on modeling and not hook ups!

shareWell I just think without Tyra it doesn't feel like ANTM, and to me the style doesn't seem to feel like it. Seems like a whole different modelling show altogether to me.
I think it'll be interesting to see how it is.
I won't miss Tyra and co. I thought the last few cycles were terrible! I'm ready and excited for the change.

Exactly. This show hasn't focused on modeling for a long time and with Tyra's continuance of being the executive producer, any change would be unlikely.

I stopped watching ANTM in the middle of Cycle 12, then started watching again during the All Star Cycle, but I think I will give this a try.
It's fakeality tv. There will be engineered drama anyway, co-ed or not .Maybe not. Remember Make Me a Supermodel? I wanted to shoot myself it was so dull. BUT at least it was about the modelling. I kind of fear ANTM will become that. share
You didn't like Make Me A Super Model? The only thing that I found boring about it was the Ronnie and Ben story. They made such a big deal about those 2 and I thought that they were boring and IMO, Ben stayed way too long.
