Couldn't they have got an actually model? I feel like she doesn't have much place judging models.
shareI think its for the ratings. ANTM has a large following of young girls, and Rita appeals to that market. She's certainly not my taste, but that's probably because I'm too old.

shareI didn't mind any of the new judges except for Drew(sorry I don't see his point), but after watching the 1st episode, with the final 14, I only like Ashley and feel that the other 3 can be replaced.
shareI actually agree and wouldn't be surprised if it was like Cycle 19 with the new judges Rob, Johnny and BryanBoy replacing Nigel, Ms J, and Mr Jay. But later those three judges leaving themselves.
So far for me Ashley has been the real star. I'm sure I read a rumour that Ashley would've been the host but VH1 wanted Rita.
It looks like Rita will be involved with some of the challenges throughout the cycle so will have more to do. But so far to me it feels as though Ashley is way more involved.
I wouldn't be surprised at this point if Cycle 24 had some more judge changes.
