Well... That was Hitler tried convincing the world of. He had SS men in Polish uniforms attack a German Army radio station near the boarder. Then they dressed some concentration camp detainees up in Polish uniforms and gunned them down.

They would also possibly try to show how Germany wanted to reclaim a land corridor between West and East Prussia, and how they wanted to reclaim Danzig.

If it was made by Hollywood, hitler would be played by Denzel.

If Hollywood created a remake, then it most likely would be set during the civil war and be about the Confederate President Jefferson Davis and the downfall of him and his "reich".

For sure, Hollywood would have made it in English. It was so cool they made it in German.
