This is a crummy film, a pretender to a genre of surprise ending movies. The characters are unlikeable, and some are so unlikeable they are almost unwatchable. Matt Dillon, a fine, intense actor is totally miscast here and the others are forgettable. Much of the dialogue is sophomoric, again a pretender trying to be witty and I wouldn't hire the screenwriter to write my grocery list. Yes, it's that bad, veering from misogynistic to just plain gross, as in beyond frat-house gross. With so much real talent out there, I'm really surprised this movie got made. It shows the total lack of imagination of the office suits...

I wandered into the Jessica Simpson/Andy Dick thing and couldn't understand why everybody hated it. Then I sobered up and saw a effed up.

Then I get here and find people are hating on the real thing. This is a funny arsed film -- satirical, black, metaphysical (the Buddhist shyit), over the edge deadpan.

I likes from beginning to end.

Kushka, I'm with you. I think there is a good way and a bad way to make a movie about unlikeable characters who do awful things. It is really difficult to do well. This movie came close, but missed the mark. I can't explain it, it had funny moments and almost-there characters, but didn't seal the deal somehow.

Taking back IMDB message boards....one ignored Troll at a time.

This is not a very good film. Unless you are a huge fan of black comedies you will not like this movie. And even if you are a huge fan of black comedies you still might not like it. The problem is, this movie has one of the most annoying characters in movie history, yes I am talking about David's friend, Jack. I can only imagine how much better this movie would have been without this useless character that really added nothing to the film. Its almost like they added this character just to gross people out for no reason. I almost changed the channel after a few mintues of watching this obnoxious idiot. But I finished it and was disappointed yet again when I saw the ending.

This film is garbage for the most part. It has a few funny scenes in it but its not worth watching.
