personally, i liked the ending. all the *beep* after the credits was just for a good laugh, but if you ignore all of that it's a damn good movie.

reply

it was a so so movie until the last 20 minutes

the hooker at the hotel made me laugh

great movie that i don't know why isn't more talked about.

reply

Yeah, the constant plot twists in the end ruined it. It became ridiculous. Like "Wild Things", also with Dillon.

reply

Yeah - I put it up there with "Drowning Mona" and "One Night at McCool's" - also so so movies that's not talked about much.

It would have been fine without the extra twist that CA's character was playing Charles as well.

The twists were meant to be over the top, I don't think you were supposed to take it seriously, just go all along for the ride.

It fits with the theme of the movie; "You reach "perfect enlightenment" when you realize that everything in your life is an illusion." That's what Matt Dillon narrates in the middle of the movie, and the ending pretty much fit with that perfectly.
