ok i know no-one is gonna fill david's shoes, but is this guy even a medium? he takes ages to get information out, doesnt give a lot, and gets scared by a noise and a "shadow". and all the "OH MY GOD" and grabbing yvette, its funny but we dont wnat another DEREK!! i recorded some of it last night, and have heard he got possessed!!! respectable mediums (or real ones) do not usually let themselves get possessed as its very dangerous and draining. Im not a complete believer in this stuff, nor am i a skeptic but brian is pushing me towards skepticism!! its not the same without david since david joined the show after derek, i think it got better and more believable and probs more respected. the live vigils were excellent, interesting and obviously at time scary and weird. but its turning into a farce again. i mean no harm to brian, but really i think most haunted fans are past the dramatics that were derek and were preferring the more psychic ways of wells. i am gonna continue watchin the live show coz i wanna see wat happens, but i dont know if i can handle 4 more nights of brian (or BERECK!)

I'm believe in ghosts and stuff like that. I've often thought this show to be fake and that three quarters of it is made up. But I still watch because it is entertaining to watch.I agree with the OP that this Brian so-called medium isn't a true medium I was watching last night (27/03/08) and this was going through my mind he gets scared at everything,I wish they would bring Derek back. Just imagine him on the trail of the devil he would go ape *beep* on on the entire MH team. lolHail To The King Baby ~Ash

agree. they are all pretty over dramatic even tho they've been doing to for years now, ud think they would get used to spirits banging about!

Sooner or later Most Haunted will realise fans are not happy with Brian. They'll know fans loved David and prefer another medium similar to him.

It's a pitty David chose to leave...MH would've wanted him to stay on.

But don't worry! David does appear in a handful of episodes in season 10.

I believe whatever doesn't kill you simply makes you...stranger.

The only time he actually comes up with anything is when somebody else has said that they have heard or seen something. Then all of a sudden he's all over it like "oh cant you see her?" or "oh my god i see it to".

It's a total farce, and even though i didnt think it could get any worse than derek, i was wrong.

And you can clearly see him rocking the table during the seances - what a fraud, but then again he fits right in with Stuart and Karl!

I miss David. And I also cannot stand this bloody new historian. Everytime she appears I really have an urge to hit her. I want the facts love. I don't want your squinty eyes and dramatics. Just the bloody facts.

Hopefully they'll realise that most fans want back a respectable medium who just tells them calmly and won't freak out at everything.

lol,she does squint her eyes a lot! i kinda like her tho. but i really miss david, MH got so much better after derek left, now its a farce all over again!

I used to be an avid fan up until about S8 when I just lost interest for various reasons. But one of the good points up until then was the reassuring presence of David Wells: his voice was pleasent on the ear and he had a very calming disposition about him as well, in addition to being a very good medium.

I've only dipped into the latest series and am amazed at all the new faces: but even after watching just one epsiode I've come to realise Brian is completely out his depth and should be booted out asap. I don't know much about him or his past experience as a medium but if this had been The Apprentice tv show I would have fired him there and then!
