I use to look forward to this show but every time they hear a little sound the women scream & cuss loudly & all that the viewer can hear are bleeps from the cussing being edited out & the getting on my nerves screams of everybody involved. At least on Ghost Hunters they all dont scream & run out of the room at every little noise.
shareI agree. When it first started, it was, to me, excellent. It gave you the chance to go ghosthunting with the team, and they made it more enjoyable. The Derek Acorah (like him ,have 2 of his books but) got possessed every week as time went on. ANd everyone kept seeing things in places that camera wasn't being pointed at. And it got to the point where I realised you were never going to see anything. So I gave up.
Also got really silly with the live ones where they would ask people send in pictures from they happened to draw with the aid of "spirits" and perfect pictures were being sent in from people who were clearly artists.
But my most favourite ridiculous thing of all (and there are a few) was when, a few years ago, on a live one, they took some audience members to a racecourse, and asked them to picture themsleves back in time, and this man started talking the most ridiculous stuff ever, saying there was a small boy talking to him and he saw this and that and all this other stuff. It was years ago, but stayed with me for the simple fact it was so mental.
Its all the yelling & edited bleeps of cussing that drove me away at every little thing.
shareI agree! I used to LOVE this show! Had the dvds, everything, then I realised that there is a very good chance that everything was faked and I just didn't want to watch anymore! It got really annoying, the screaming, th 'Karl and Stuart thing', the whole thing just got really tired in my opinion.
shareOn the other ghost shows on tv they charge in to see where that noise was coming from. I like the history of a place but when the lights go out on this show i have to change the channel & Kat is the most annoying person on the show the loudest screamer at every little thing. Cant stand this show anymore.
shareI still watch the show but agree with the negative points that you make. I like the history too and always find the first 30 or so minutes that they are talking about the history of the place very interesting. I like studying British history so it it is very cool to see the historical sites located in Britain. I really enjoy seeing the old castles, houses, and prisons.
But I too lose interest when the lights go out and everyone freaks out. And you can't figure out what is going on. The newer historian is very bad at doing this. I liked the historian Richard Felix who didn't seem to freak out so badly. David Wells was also a very believable medium. I totally agree with you about Kat she screams at everything. That is very annoying and she should try a different line of work and not do Ghost Hunting anymore. She definitely doesn't have the temperament. They ask for something to happen and when something does they go running off in the opposite direction.
Ciaran O'Keefe is someone that has not lost all credibility. He keeps his cool and usually debunks most all of the 'evidence' that the others find. I will still watch the show but it needs a definite makeover to be taken seriously by viewers.

This use to be the only show of its type but today unless i have nothing to watch i cant stand all the screaming at every little noise & you cant hear it for youself because big mouth Kat is yelling. With Ghost Hunters & Ghost Adventures though they havnt many shows at least they run in & not run away screaming at the top of their lungs.
