Do you really believe they are the ghost of people who have passed or something else? Where do you think they came from? Why do they exist? What's their purpose?

War does not determine who is right - only who is left.
American Civil War General Joshua Chamberlain expressed thoughts that I totally agree with about spirits and battlefields where spirits might stay long after they have left this earth:
"In great deeds, something abides. On great fields, something stays. Forms change and pass; bodies disappear; but spirits linger, to consecrate ground for the vision-place of souls. And reverent men and women from afar, and generations that know us not and that we know not of, heart-drawn to see where and by whom great things were suffered and done for them, shall come to this deathless field, to ponder and dream; and lo! the shadow of a mighty presence shall wrap them in its bosom, and the power of the vision pass into their souls."
I like to think we almost know nothing of the world, we know the now and yesterday. Sometimes i believe sometimes i don't. i done really believe in a soul but as i said, what do we know. Scientists disprove it but can't prove they don't exist. some believe in god, but he cant be disproved or proven. at the end of the day i like to have an open mind about most things...
what i do know is Most Haunted is a fascinating watch, sometimes stupid as hell and they shoot themselves in the foot over and over again by having only 1 locked-off camera in the room where something actually happens.
The thing i really hate is they are INVESTIGATORS into the paranormal and their show is all about CAPTURING a ghost/spirit, so what do they do when they have an angry spirit cornered....they run for it, Derek says "don't go in there, it's a nasty soul, it will do you harm!....it must be worth going in to get it on camera.
but i do like the show even if i tut at Yvette for jumping every second.....
When will people realise we do not own this planet, we are merely the lease holders...
On Most Haunted, I agree that they jump too much. You would think that after eight years they would be less jumpy. It also gets tiring for Cath to scream her head off every other episode.
I still like the show but if they want to witness a spirit they need to not freak out every time something interesting happens.
