New ep - The Woods

I'm watching right now an episode about haunted woods. They mention in the beginning that it is such a scary place, they wouldn't divulge it's location, WTF?! I simply can't understand that rationale. Do they believe they are such professionals and that no one else should ever seek such a place. They are the idiots who fly into a panic by a mere blowing breeze. One guy has something drop on him from above and freaks out... YOU"RE IN THE WOODS MORON! SHT FALLS FROM TREES! Then they find some animal carcass like it's something out of the ordinary to find in the woods. Then to top off the whole expedition, they [of course] suffer equipment failure.

How is it that shows like this & Ghost Hunters never fail to suffer equipment failure? And it's always that particular piece of equipment that will present the evidence needed to conclude the investigation? Can't their production companies afford the needed materials for them to conduct their job adequately?

While O'Keefe did remark on several possible explanations in the episode, the reason for not divulging the location is another matter and may have to do with privacy issues with properties surrounding the location much like Dudleyville in Connecticut of the U.S.A.
