What happened to Bernard the Hitman?

hey everybody:)
I was wondering after Neuville's rant to Bernard the hitman about Margot being alive as an injustice while his rapist son was dead as a dodo, that Bernard would go after Margot still. Yet, there was no Bernard to be seen again... It bothered me. Yes it did to the point where I didn't fully enjoy this movie.

I just got done watching this.......and asked myself the same question, but then again the father in law did give him the package of all the "scums" names and addresses and what not, so i'm assuming his name is in there?

Bernard would only do what he was paid to do. If Neuville is arrested, that's the end of that. Especially with all the evidence.
