A French 'Laura'? (SPOILERS)

Still trying to piece this one together plot-wise -- not sure that's possible -- but on the whole I had the impression of an up-to-the-minute, coked-up version of the 1944 classic "Laura," which also turned around a dead and buried heroine who turned out not to be dead.

Thoughts?

Only on the point of the woman not really being dead. Otherwise there is no real connection or resemblance.
