Great film, but there is huge plot hole (spoilers)

So when alex is trying to crack the Concert and Olympia password clues , he realises his computers are being watched right?
So he goes out for a walk and thinks of the answer being U2.
he then goes to an Internet cafe and types it in to then find out where to meet his wife in the park. (whilst this is happening the thugs make the killing of the photographer, but Alex has an alibi of being at the cafe)

But, since alex went to a cafe, the thugs would not if watched the email , which means they would not have known where he was to meet his wife. But in the park, the thugs are there waiting. How did they know where the meet place was?
Alex found out the info at an Internet cafe deliberately so that he could not be 'watched'.

So the guy at the cafe could be in on it, BUT...

Can it be explained why chief henchman is on the phone moments before the park scene saying that they don't know where alex is?!

The actual plot hole is that the user name U2 would be taken.

Don't forget they had professional hackers in their team.

He logs off, thinking it's safe; they hack the cafe's computer and work something out - for me that's plausible.

One of the goons is the man sitting next to him in the internet cafe who lets him go before him. He's probably so transfixed on the email that he doesn't notice him next him to him peeking at his screen.
