plane tickets to Argentina

In the film, she shows up at the airport ready to board the plane. The cops find out that Beck has bought a ticket, and under an alias, hers is right next to his, so they are looking for them both.
Maybe I was sleeping, but I saw no setup for any of this, including how they set it up with each other. Then later, we see that he has received no new emails from her, since seeing her in the park (and he obviously doesn't go to the airport). What am I missing?

Could she have purchased a ticket in his behalf well before even her first email because she was confident that he would accompany her back to Argentina?

I believe that when she set up the meeting with him at the park, she knew that after she told him her story, he would go back with her to Argentina. So in advance she booked to tickets for them. But when was walking towards him in the park, she noticed he was being watched and decided to leave to Argentina by herself. She never cancelled his ticket because she was in a hurry to leave.

That was my assumption. She booked the tickets in the hope that they would fly out together.

There were 2 or 3 things I couldn't figure out in this wonderful, suspenseful, ultimately movingly romantic film & this was certainly one of them.I didn't get the relevance of the name she used either or how the police knew or how Beck could possibly have arranged this collaboration with his wife.
My assumption was that after seeing him in the park & thereby confirming he was alive she had decided to fly back to Argentina, not wanting to put his life in danger.
In the end, it's brilliantly, enigmatically, frustratingly French & the French are just like that.

The name she used was her middle name, the surname used was "their" street.

If you remember near the start of the film, the main character is being quizzed by the police and is asked about the two names.

dustybabi and amarti76's replies make sense. But then why does she backtrack and doesn't leave to Argentina?

Because she saw on TV that he was in trouble. I guess she couldn't just leave without him.

I don't love her.. She kicked me in the face!!
