Did anyone else love the dog in this movie?
A briard, and remarkable one at that!

It looked more like a floor mop crossed with a St. Bernard.
shareyes - amazing dog!
shareI fell in love with them and started training Briards for service roles. There's a pic of our new batch of twelve at www.ry-con.com. Funny how a movie can have such an impact on your life.
sharethis movie was my first exposure to the breed. good to know there are some ethical companies out there, thanks for the link :)
shareI was very afraid the dog would be a goner. The animal corpses next to the victims made me wonder if the dog would be next. And when the dog was leashed outside the internet cafe, I was certain that he would vanish!
shareNever thought of that sherm, yikes! Glad she (he) made it. The girl dog was played by a male as I understand it.
shareI thought the same thing! The camera kept showing Alexandre looking to the dog, and when we saw that long shot of the dog looking up, I was certain he was a goner. I don't think 4-legged actors get the recognition they deserve, which was why I loved the scene where Alex's defense attorney gets a photo of the dog emailed over just to rub in the DA's face that the dog saved the day for her client!
