Seasons 1 and 2 were magical

I think what made seasons 1 and 2 magical (IMHO) was their chemistry with each other, the best-friends connection. But as season 3 came along, it didn't really feel the same (it feels like they're them growing apart and just wanting to get everything over with), but it was still great. Another great thing about season 3 was Nicole's transformation. I think Season 4 is funnier than season 5. I feel in season 5 that their friendship is still being "repaired" because they kinda feel a bit awkward with each other like in the E! interview (probably back in March during the filming) when they were asked about being friends again, Nicole said in a weird way "I'm glad to be shooting with my friend". If their friendship now is fake just to boost ratings, I find it cool how they can be so civil with each other, just imagine a school project with someone you didn't like. But you know maybe their friendship is real, they just went their own ways, like do you see or hear them lately with each other. I just wished Nicole had her witty one liners back in season 5. I wish they just axe the Simple Life after 5 or do a reunion with the Ledings, so they can catch up and see what they've gone through (the falling out, Nicole's weight, DUIs, etc.) that would be interesting.
