Paris in Blackface?!

Is it just me or in the commercial for tonights episode did they show paris made up to look like a black woman? Putting a white person in blackface is insulting enough due to the long racist history behind it ("Birth of a Nation" anyone?). But I find it 10 times more insulting considering that just a few months ago we all saw the video of Paris dancing to a notorious B.I.G. song saying "look we're ni99ers!" Add to that the fact that we all know that this show is scripted and it just becomes incredibly insensitive and insulting. I know that a lot of kids that watch the show will just think its funny but I'm only 26 and I know better than to just laugh at something like that, without considering the people who will be hurt by it.

I'm a black woman, I did NOT find it offensive. Paris thought she looked hot as a black woman. Nicole was even funnier because she said she is already a black woman (being half black). Do you find it just as offensive/insensitive when Eddie Murphy gets done up as different races? What about the Wayans brothers and the movie White Chicks? It is a reality-comedy, get over it already!

Eddie Murphy did an old SNL skit where he played a white man all dressed up like that.

The whole issue with people dressing in blackface in vaudville and in movies like Birth of a Nation is that they would do it in a way that was really degrading to black people. They took all the negative stereotypes and exagerated them.
That obviously wasn't what Paris was doing.
Especially since Nicole is her best friend and considers herself black.

Al Sharpton needed to get on her racist ass.
