possible spoiler, but right when the movie ended I realized that the entire movie is a palindrome, from start to finish. The movie reaches the middle point, and then in some similar but different way everything goes backwards until the last scene in the movie, like a mirror (besides the funeral at the beginning). Is this an obvious point of the movie? I expected to hear more discussion on how impressive it was that Solondz made a palindrome out of an entire movie with a consistent storyline...

good observation. but a-duh, of course the movie is a palindrome. whoever didnt get it is an american mass audience prick. the actors pop in like a palindrome as well. OMG but he was so daring to have 1 person being played by many actors! o ove todd solondz. of i wasnt straight i would do him so fast. ;]

HE DOES MANY THINGS THAT AR DARING IN THIS MOVIE AND I LOVE HOW WHEN PEOPLE JUST START LIKING HIS FILMS HE GOES THE COMPETELY OTHER WAY. HE IS A GOD.
