Was it me?...

...Or was Aviva's mom, (Ellen Barken) LICKING the self-adhesive stamps when she was sending out the party invitations?

I couldn't help but notice that it appeared that the stamps were self-sticking yet she licked every one of them before pasting them on the envelope.

Anyone else notice this?

Yeah, I noticed that too, lol. I wonder if they taste as bad as the stamps that do require licking.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I thought I was the only one who pays attention to such minute details. If this film were to take place 10 years ago, that would make sense. As far as I know, nowadays there are no stamps available that aren't self-adhesive.

I honestly thought I was just seeing things. I totally caught that too.

Yeah I saw that - I'm surprised the stamp didn't stick to her tongue. I wonder if it was a force of habit thing!!!

im with you turtle, it was freakin' weird. maybe it was to portray that she was distracted.
or that she is of the generation that remembers licking stamps...

I thought I was crazy, or that it was a mistake. But I think I agree with the analysis that she was a fake who just goes "through the motions". In fact, I'm pretty sure that's what was intended. Makes total sense.

Either that, or it was just a way to show how distracted she was.
