Blatant take of... (possible spoilers)
...Crime and Punishment. Sure there are obviously differences in a lot of thematics in both this film and the novel, but the director makes it quite obvious via the story and symbolism. The main character reads Dostoevsky, he's about to hit the old lady over the head with a blunt object, turns himself in to the police station at the end, etc. For me personally it ruined the movie.
