Shoshanna

This may be discussed elsewhere, but I watched this film again last night and noticed a discrepancy. When Landa is asking the dairy farmer about the family, he has a list of them, one of which is spelled "Shoshanna." However, a few minutes later, he yells after her and the subtitle reads (Shosanna). I believe the credits also call her Shosanna. Is this just an intentional goof by Tarantino?

reply

It seems to be intentional. Remember some of the English subtitles still write fräulein instead of miss, and etc.

Subtitles are often off. I've noticed it when watching a movie with them. Some of the time lines in the movie don't even show up in them.
