It's the sound of Landa chewing it that makes the scene so strudel-brainwashing.
The sound is masterfully edited to emphase a bit more of the higher and medium spectrum tones than you usually hear when someone's eating food with that consistence.
And he's eating is so compelling.
Another great scene that makes you wanna eat the same RIGHT NOW is again a QT scene - Nacho grande platters in Death Proof. It's simply irresistable to me :)
