I realize that many people will say that B. Pitt was supposed to act like a dumb-ass as part of his character's role. But, in my opinion, his acting is nearly always so bad that it spoils any movie he is in. A few of his middle career roles like "Snatch" were much better because he was not cast as a leading man type.

And God forbid he has to speak lines.
In all fairness Brad Pitt has terrible acting in almost everything he’s in. The only performance of his that I’ve seen that wasn’t cringey was Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
shareOn top of lacking charm and energy, his monologues are too long for his ability and the accent was a bad choice too. Comes off like Tarantino just wanted a Brando type, and settled for a discount store Brando instead of rewriting/recasting the part.
