i dont know if anyone has thought of this but could it be her voice double in the parts that we all know she didn't sing herself..do you think it couldve been haylie duff? cause haylie has a much better voice and can sing high notes..just been thinking about that having seen the movie again just last night

how can anyone look up to this retard Hilary when she needs to get a voice double for her own movie when she's a so-called "proffesional singer"? Do you think Jojo or Christina Aguilera would have needed this assistance? Where are the protestors. If Hil was at TRL and I was outside I would hold up signs of hate, because this girl doesn't deserve to have a record label. She talks, doesn't sing, probably because her producers can't take her non-voice. Listen for the vibrato- it's not there! Carrying a simple tune is for babies. You should have something special to be famous, and she doesn't have it! For pete's sake, and the classroom singing scene was so funny. I cried with laugther because it was so obviously not her. The double was better than her but it was still bad! When people cheered afterwards burst out laffing. Am I the only one confused as to why people like her. I mean she's cute... but so is Jojo! And she can sing like hell.
And don't tel me Hilary can act. Apparently on the set of Lizzie Magooroeie, whatever its called, she needed an acting coach to stop her from being abysmal, and obviously the man failed. She was still terrible. And apparently they didn't want to make her feel bad, so they said the coach was for all the cast... ahha..
Hilary is a nice person, but if that's what it takes to get famous then tonnes of people would be alongside Hilary in their nontalent.
Hilary sings throughout the whole film. There is just occasional parts in songs where they want her to hit really high notes that she can't. Her sister in fact sings those notes for her. You can especially tell if you've ever heard Hayley sing. It's exactly her.
And you can tell the difference in voices during the songs. Hilary has the young, sweet voice as Hayley has the older, more mature voice.
That is absolutely pathetic. There is not one note in that whole movie above an F or so... if she can't hit that, there's no way she'd make that "prestigious" music camp. Sorry, but if you sang "Caro mio ben" from your throat in your unsupported, breathy chest voice like that to ANY actual voice teacher, he'd toss you out. Those "best singers in the country" were an absolute joke. They were trying to sing classical music in a pop style,... and not even sounding good there, which is ridiculous.
shareI don't know why it really matters who was singing in the first place the whole point of the movie yes was her making it to that school but was to show how hard life can get and how u need to have faith and courage to hold yourself up and go for what u truely believe in not for just the singing if it was haylie then so be it it still sounded good no matter who did it stop and think what u would do in that kind of a situation
