1. She most likely got some type of scholarship thanks to her brother.
2. She was with him, she wasn't going to let anything happen to him. He wasn't suicidal. If she left him up there alone, this would be a whole different story.
3. Well, a scene where someone straightening their hair would be a completely useless scene to me. But I guess you have weird taste. Also, some girls hair is naturally straight.
4. Obviously you are in high school.

Tony Stark: Let's be honest, this isn't the worst thing you've caught me doing.

5. Every breath you take, he'll be watching. Apparently the writer and director didn't realize The Police song was about a stalker. Not a nice guy.

6. The Hallelujah Chorus is TOUGH.

7. That's about it. I didn't really learn much from this movie.

8. The right thing to do when a guy comes to you, drunk and being obnoxious, is to forgive him anything he's done and take care of him, because girls are made to take care of guys

9. You can get in to one of the best music schools in the country despite having a ridiculously mediocre and quiet voice

10. You don't have to know how to play an instrument, the sound can be played back

11. A girl with no volume to her voice can be heard over twentyish instruments without microphone - as long as it is in the end scene.

12. I need to stop watching bad movies.

13. 2 girls can be psychic when it comes to music, as Robyn and her friend just knew to go 'ooh ooh ooh'

14. Music schools have kids playing instruments outside 24/7, and they all seem to be in sync

15. Men should not have scary thin eyebrows a la Terri's dad

16. if a man gets drunk after he dumps you it means he cares and you should forgive him for cheating

17. Knowledge of how to use a sound machne is classified as a 'talent'

18. Artists think differently from regular people (btw W T F was that all about?! Egotistical tosser!)

19. Aidan got fatter after sex and the city

1. she did get a scholarship, because her brother had made a dvd and she made a cd. middle class people can afford schools like that, even if they don't have much money, they probably did what they could to afford it.

2. she didn't want to wake anyone up in the school.

3. people have naturally straight hair and don't use a straighter. besides wouldn't it be boring to show her straightening in every other scene throught the movie?

4. who knows. it could happen.

1. She got a scholarship.

2. Like someone else said, she was with him and there wasn't anyone else up there, so he wouldn't wake anyone else up.

3. You actually CAN have naturally straight hair all the way through without straightening it. I do.

4. It wasn't like a regular school, anyways. It was in the summer at a music program and with a bunch of teenagers; not all of them are all going to be asleep at the same time.

On a side note... sort of... this is what I learned:
5. You can easily lie to your father and pretend you're in a totally different city despite him coming to visit you.

6. If you're really close to a family member, say your mom, or... uh... I dunno, BROTHER they're bound to die. Especially if there are issues between that family member and another, let's just say... the father.

1. haters will ignore the merits of a movie and nit pick at stupid *beep* that doesn't even matter
2. that some people don't realize or won't admit that even the really good movies have the same stupid little things wrong with them
3. that posters will repeat the same thing someone else already said and feel important
4. that responding to these type of people is a waste of time

and it's learned not learnt
