Goddd. Did this part annoy anyone else?
When Lolas in the play and they are trying to get her to say "new york" and she says 'new yoke' and 'new roke'. I wanted to repeatedly stab her with sporks. Did it annoy the crap out of anyone else???

shareit was supposed to be. I dont know if you know what the play Pigmaylion is about, but that was just part of her learning how to speak correctly.
I'm waking up with the midnight sun
I know that. But it just really annoyed me...Thats what I was asking.
sharewell yeah, when i heard it i thought it sounded bad in like a "she's a bad actress" kind of way...but idk, her character already annoyed me so i guess i didnt think about it when she said that lol

what annoyed me is how dag-on tight her costume was..it was ridulous how bad it looked. No one would let you wear a costume that tight in a real show
shareSo true. Maybe if you're a bit pudgy it would fit that tight, but very rarely do they allow costumes to be that tight. That's what stage mistresses / seamstresses are for. :p
I'm not psycho, just a little loopy.
*~me~*
She moved there from *beep*ing NYC! You would think she could speak with a New York accent!
"Joey, have you ever been in a Turkish prison?"

Anything Lindsay does is annoying and begs for a punch. Megan Fox was good though.
share*raises her hand*
This annoyed me on soooo many levels.

Looking down at my shoes
The one smiling like the sun
That's you"

I think that scene in the play may also to be " a sort-of homage " to the movie " My Fair Lady " from 1964 as well . Thanks DimentedPerson10 for your subject post .
Not exactly. The play in the movie is a modern adaption of Pygmalion. The movie, My Fair Lady is also an adaption of Pygmalion. So no, the part in Eliza Rocks is not taken from My Fair Lady, since both movies share the same source material.
Pygmalion is also an adaption of a story by Ovid.
