I noticed in the movie that he's always chauffeured around by Chas.. And when he's with Angela in the car, she's the one who's driving.. I don't know why this bothered me..maybe it's because he seems such a badass, it seems silly that he can't master driving a car.

Yes, legally he can't drive due to a revoked license.
Other than that, why else does he keep Chaz around? The guy is driving a taxi.
