Tilda Swinton absolutely nailed it as Gabriel. Perfect casting - she is truly adrogynous and her looks are always striking, beautiful-but-otherworldly. In her brief scenes she manages to bring complexity and humanity to this action packed fantasy thriller, aswell as being absolutely hilarious - the last scene where she discovers pain via a punch in the mouth was priceless . She walks away with the film for me.

shareSwinton definitely committed grand larceny on this film and was driving away in the getaway car, but Stormare came in at the last minute and snatched it right from her.

Agreed, both were great in their own ways. I agree, OP, Swinton was excellent and she looked pretty hot near the end when she tells Constantine "his ego was astounding."

Yep, she was sublime as Gabriel. The whole cast was downright perfect.
